Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya faced protests at Sirathu in Kaushambi district on Saturday, 22 January, when he went to visit the residence of Poonam Maurya, a zila panchayat member whose husband Rajeev Maurya is missing for five days. Poonam, however, distanced herself from the protests.
